LBMultipurposeRoom

The Multipurpose Room seats a maximum of 100 people when not using tables; 60 people when using tables. Approximately 20 tables and 80 chairs are included with the rental.

If you would like to use the Multipurpose Room at the Lake Blackshear Regional Library, please follow these steps:

  • Contact the Library (229-924-8091) to see if your preferred date is available.

  • Once you've chosen an available date and a Library staff member has made your tentative reservation, you will need to print, fill out, and return to the Library the last page of the Policy, the Reservation Form and the Checklist, found below, along with the Deposit of $100 cash or check, within ONE WEEK (7 days) of making the tentative reservation. The Library also has paper copies of these forms that you can fill out in person.

Note: You will need to finalize your tentative reservation by signing forms and paying the Deposit of $100 cash or check within ONE WEEK (7 days) of making the tentative reservation. Failure to do so will result in the removal of your tentative reservation, allowing others to reserve the room.

  • The Room Rental fee of $100 cash or check must be paid no later than ONE WEEK (7 days) before the reserved date. Otherwise, your reservation will be cancelled to allow others use of the room.

  • You will be issued separate receipts for the Deposit and Room Rental fee. You are required to present the Deposit receipt to receive a refund.
