This fundamental class, or equivalent experience on PCs, is recommended before enrolling in our other classes. This introductory class covers the most basic personal computing principles: the parts of the PC, the desktop display, customizing the screen, and using the mouse.

Internet for Beginners

Mastery of PC Basics is recommended before taking this course. Ideal for those who want to begin using the internet, this class will cover the basics of accessing the World Wide Web and using an internet browser to find information.

MS Excel for Beginners

Knowledge of PC basics and general knowledge of a Windows operating system is recommended prior to this class. The class will create and work with Excel spreadsheets, the computer equivalent of paper ledger sheets. A spreadsheet’s grid of columns and rows makes number manipulation easy.
